Nitro Química has been a signatory of Responsible Care program since the program was implanted in Brazil by Abiquim (Brazilian Association of Chemical Industries) in 1992. The initiative promotes improvements in managing Brazilian chemical companies, working on sustainability throughout the entire value chain, taking special care of the environment and social responsibility in processes and products.
The Abiquim assessment process – called VerificAr – has the participation of external auditors and community representatives.
