At Nitro Química, all activities focus on Safety, Health and Environment - SHE. The Company has been a signatory of the Responsible Care Program since 1992, and has been systematically reducing its use of natural resources, its accident frequency and severity rates, and it has continuously improved SHE performance indicators.

The company has had its SHE management process approved within the Responsible Activity Program, known as VerificAR.

His most recent achievement was the certification by NAPIM/USA - National Association of Printing Inks Manufacturer, which recognized the Nitro Quimica as the first and sole Nitrocellulose Manufacturer in the World to offer resins with high content of components originated from natural renewable resources (BRC 80% and 50%) showing that its products are the most environmentally available on the market and that the Company works respecting and acting to protect the environment and to promote the sustainability.
