A colorless, corrosive and fumigant liquid, hydrofluoric acid (HF) is used in the production of fluoride salts, refrigerant gases, cryolite, pesticides, detergents, Teflon, minerals purification (niobium and tantalum), gasoline alkylation (high-octane gasoline), and uranium enrichment. The product is obtained from the reaction between sulfuric acid and dried fluorite.

Nitro Química provides training and technical support for the development of safety standards for transporting and handling the product. It works with the customers and transportation companies, verifying their facilities, personnel skills, special equipment and technical support material to guarantee safety in their operations.
